Walsh Wraps Up Final Spring-Cleaning Series with Shredding Event in Ballston

Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) partnered with Stone Secure Shredding for a free shredding event today at Ballston Town Hall. This was the final of three drive-thru style spring-cleaning events being held for residents of the 112th Assembly District, which allowed residents to safely dispose of their unneeded confidential documents. This year two trucks were filled with documents.

“This shredding event is a simple way to help protect people from things like identity theft, while providing a convenient opportunity to clear out clutter at home,” said Walsh. “In today’s world, where sensitive information can be misused in a matter of seconds, safely disposing of documents like old bank statements, medical records and tax forms is more important than ever. Events like this support personal security and give people peace of mind—and that’s something we’re always proud to offer,” said Walsh.

“Thank you, as always, to everyone who made the trip out to finish their spring cleaning just in the nick of time for summer weather to start rolling out. And thank you as well to Stone Secure Shredding, the Town of Ballston Highway Department, and Supervisor Eric Connolly, for helping us make this happen. Mark your calendars for next year’s spring-cleaning events!” Walsh concluded.
