“Passing another extender is a sign that Albany isn’t getting the job done. People in the North Country don’t operate on extensions; they balance their budgets, make tough decisions and move forward. State government should be held to that same standard.
“Every delay pushes critical decisions further down the road, leaving our communities without the answers they need on funding, infrastructure and services. That uncertainty is felt most in rural areas, where resources are already stretched thin.
“It’s time to stop kicking the can down the road and deliver a budget that is straightforward, responsible and on time.”
