Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C-Schoharie) spent the day in Albany this week showing recognition and thanks to two veterans of the Vietnam War who reside in the 102^nd Assembly District. Being the son of a Vietnam veteran and the grandson of a World War II veteran, Tague was glad to have the opportunity to show gratitude to the two veterans who joined him. The brave veterans, Thomas Andreassen and Sheriff Ron Stevens, both were treated with the honors of the Assembly Chamber as well as given a look into how state government operates.

“I’m incredibly honored that both Thomas and Sheriff Stevens were able to join me today on this special occasion. The sacrifice these men and many more made is one not made by many around the world, and the work they did for this nation cannot be understated. I’m so proud to represent these men in state government, and I’m so grateful to them for joining us in Albany and allowing us to thank them for their service and sacrifice. And I want to send a special message to all of our Vietnam veterans: God Bless You, Thank You for your Service, and Welcome Home!” Tague said.
