“It is high time we start helping our businesses. Over the past year, due to the executive orders issued by the governor, thousands of restaurants and bars have shut their doors permanently. I join my colleagues in the Assembly and Senate in calling for the removal of the two orders which require the purchase of food with any alcoholic beverage and the 11 p.m. curfew. There is no scientific evidence to back these restrictions, therefore we must remove them to help allow our local restaurants and bars to recover.”
