Working together, we remain committed to delivering meaningful investments that strengthen Long Beach and improve the quality of life for its residents.

Long Beach is truly one of New York’s greatest cities. From its beautiful beaches and iconic boardwalk to its outstanding restaurants, surfing, live entertainment, and vibrant summer atmosphere, it is a destination unlike any other. Yet beyond everything that draws visitors here is a close-knit community whose residents take great pride in the place they call home.

That is why we have continued to work together to secure state funding that supports both public safety and the city’s continued revitalization. Most recently, we secured $100,000 for improvements to the Long Beach Police Station, helping ensure that the dedicated officers who protect our community have facilities that better support the important work they do each day.

In addition, we secured funding for façade rehabilitation and other exterior improvements that will help revitalize commercial properties throughout the city. Improvements to storefronts, doors, and building exteriors will enhance the appearance of Long Beach’s business districts, encourage additional investment, and help preserve the unique charm and character that residents and visitors have enjoyed for generations.
