STOP THE CLOSURE OF THE SCHENECTADY VA CLINIC

The planned closure of the Schenectady Community-Based Outpatient Clinic will make it harder for local veterans to get the care they need.

For many veterans, especially seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those without reliable transportation, this clinic provides care close to home. Closing it means longer travel, missed appointments, and more barriers to care.

We should be making it easier for veterans to get care, not harder.

We, the undersigned, call on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to:

  • Reverse the planned closure of the Schenectady VA Clinic
  • Maintain local access to care for veterans in our community
  • Work with local leaders to find solutions that keep services close to home

Our veterans showed up for us. Now we must stand up for them.
